Novant Health is a four-state integrated network of physician clinics, outpatient centers and hospitals. Its network consists of more than 1,600 physicians and 29,000 employees at more than 640 locations, including 15 medical centers and hundreds of outpatient facilities and physician clinics.

For the past three years, I've dedicated my efforts to a range of projects at Novant, taking on the role of UI/UX Lead Designer. In this capacity, I had the privilege of leading a team of six talented designers, collectively translating abstract business concepts into tangible, rigorously tested UI/UX design prototypes. These prototypes seamlessly integrated into the development pipeline.

My responsibilities extended to crafting highly accessible UI elements and creating a user-friendly UX. Additionally, I provided valuable support to our development team in the creation of a custom React Native mobile app. This app serves as an internal tool for Novant employees, facilitating communication and providing essential information.

I also played a pivotal role in the design and hands-on front-end development of an Angular/Material web application. This platform empowered Novant administrators to efficiently manage content and features within the mobile app.

As part of my collaboration with this client, I undertook a secondary project involving the redesign of their legacy wayfinding app. In close coordination with the marketing team, I gave the app a fresh identity, complete with a new name, and meticulously reimagined the legacy app, adhering closely to Novant's brand guidelines.
