I'm Max Brandlex, UI/UX design expert and mobile/web developer based in Savannah, Georgia.
With 26 years of experience in web/mobile design and development, I have black belt in white SEO, digital marketing, branding and advertising, 15 years in usability testing, UX and UI design.
Specializing in UX/UI web and mobile apps re/design and development, I strive to help clients increase their profitability and user experience through improved user journeys, thoughtful design system, efficient prototyping with user testing.
As a developer I have extensive experience in a wide range of CMS, JS libraries and frameworks. I am well-versed in all aspects of agile development, whether for business, corporate, or educational purposes.

I collaborated closely with a Senior UI/UX Designer and the Aetna design team to revamp our client's web portal, adopting a mobile-first approach. Our process included the development of personas, a comprehensive overhaul of user flows, and the redesign of persona journeys. By the close of 2023, we had established a robust design system tailored for Bootstrap 5, encompassing a range of mobile and web components.

(2023)UI/UX Design Team Lead
After three years at Novant Health (Charlotte, NC), I joined DAI with two other senior designers. We actively collaborated on drafting and prototyping dashboards and user flows for numerous internal solutions. Within three months, we developed a Universal Design System with over 300 components, now actively utilized by client designers and developers.

I joined Novant Health in April 2020. During my time there, I collaborated with various stakeholders and teams, including our offshore team in India. I designed and conducted user testing for three mobile apps, created web-based Admin apps, and either created or redesigned multiple landing pages and email templates. As the client already had a well-established design system, my task was to create and test interactive prototypes to simulate the experiences of Admins, managers, travel agents, and Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection clients.
